About our service
Our services typically last 90 minutes and will feature songs of worship, public scripture reading, corporate prayer, biblical preaching, and the receiving of the Lord’s Supper.
Our congregation is on the younger side but are blessed by the historic beliefs of the Protestant Reformation and our services include ancient, and historical traditions such as the Lord’s Prayer, the Apostles’ Creed, and we often sing the Doxology or the Gloria Patri. The preaching and teaching is Christ centered and faithful to the exposition of God’s unchanging truth.

How Does WCC Receive Newcomers?
We do not ask visitors to stand, be recognized or speak publicly. We are a friendly church, so folks will greet you individually, and will want to talk with you. It is an important decision to visit a new church, and we want you to know you are welcome and have found a place to experience an authentic Christian community.
Do I have to bring a Bible?
If you have a Bible, feel free to bring it. But if you do not have a Bible, please don’t let that stop you from attending our worship service. And when you come, we would love to give you a Bible to take home.
If I am not a Christian, will I be welcomed?
Absolutely. We would be privileged if you joined us, regardless of whether you are a Christian, a skeptic, or exploring Christianity. Many of us, including teachers & preachers, did not grow up in the church; we were skeptics, or came to faith later in life. You will be welcomed at WCC. Because learning about something new takes time, we would encourage you to return each week and continue exploring. Ask about connecting with a small group close to your home.
Do you have a nursery ministry during Sunday services?
Yes, our nursery provides care during our Sunday Morning Bible Study and Worship Service for ages newborn through 4-years old. When you register your children for the nursery, you will receive a pager, in case we need to contact you during the service. Our nursery is staffed with Ministrysafe trained and background checked WCC members. In addition, we have created drop-off & pick-up safeguards as well as other procedures to ensure a safe environment for your children with only authorized personnel granted access to the nursery at all times.
