Our Elders

Our church body is led by a plurality of men appointed to the biblical office of elder.

The elders function together to uphold the fundamental responsibilities of prayer, teaching God’s Word, administering the sacraments of baptism and the Lord’s Supper, and providing servant-leadership and shepherding-oversight to the local church body.

Jeff Redding

Founding Elder, Lead Pastor

Pastor Jeff grew up in Texas and has degrees from Texas A&M and Texas Tech. He was an agnostic until the age of 25 when he came to faith in Jesus Christ. A short time later he came to understand and embrace the doctrines of grace. Jeff and his wife Andrea (Andy) have been married since 1996 and have four children. The Reddings are thankful to be a part of Walton Community Church and love Georgia. Jeff works full-time in the legal field in Atlanta. He enjoys reading and discussing books – some of his favorite authors are R.C. Sproul, Tim Keller, Chris Wright, Leif Enger, C.J. Sansom, Patrick O’Brian, Wendell Berry, and P.D. James.
